...Continued

The Twilight Series: Isabella(Bella) Swan- Portrayed By: Kirsten Stewart.
Is a girl that feels insecure, not beautiful in any degree, and is just an anyday average teen girl. Bella moves to Forks in Washington ,and when she gets there she meets a mysterious boy by the name of Edward Cullins, and she starts getting to know him as well starts to have emotions developing up for this boy she met through school. She finds out later that he is a Vampire and she still wants to be with him even if it is dangerous, and later on in the series there is a love triangle between a friend of her's she has known and the Vampire. Teen girls can connect with Bella because of her insecurity, not feeling beautiful, lost, and just feeling like an average girl, that is why girl's can easily connect with her without the Vampires. Most/Some girls want to have that perfect guy that will protect them, and make them feel loved, and that someone to love them back, but the point is not that, it is Bella's Characteristics and "how" she can connect to the girls. Bella is the most typical and everday girl with the same trials a girl goes through, and that is: school, boyfriends, feeling insecure, not perfect, and this is how the teen girls can connect with her, and how she is in ways a role-model to most/some teens.

  1. You have shown a thoughtful understanding of the issues that girls deal with. I also like how you are citing your sources. It is helpful to see where you are getting your ideas from. Have you also read the books?
